• Two small but useful pieces of equipment are available from Reed Components; a mini-clamp and a temporary exhaust repairer. The mini-clamp can be used to hold components that are being worked on, or to keep delicate parts out of the working area. They are tightened by a hexagonal key and come in packs of four at £6.49.
For roadside exhaust repairs the Expanda Clamp can he inserted into the two halves of the broken pipe and its centre bolt turned to increased the clamp's diameter and secure the system until a proper repair can be carried out.
Diameters up to 53mm are available; Expanada Clamps cost 15.99 inc VAT.
