The company is part of the NI Group, which Link joined in 1964 as a mechanical engineering apprentice with Yorkshire Imperial Metals.
He was previously in work study and production engineering before moving on to production management, becoming manufacturing manager and then production director at 1MI Radiators and EMI Air Conditioning.
In his new role Link will handle Norgren Martonair's manufacturing operations at it's Lichfield, Farnham, Shipston-on-Stour, Kenilworth and Leighton Buzzard sites.
