si John Kelly becomes managing director of National Bus Company subsidiary National Travelworld and Paul Williams, is appointed director and general manager. The appointments follow a management restructuring of the company intended to prepare it for forthcoming privatisation.

Williams was previously company secretary for National Travelworld and he will continue to fulful this role.

Kelly has been general manager of National Travelworld since its formation in 1983. The Manchester-based company owns a chain of 30 ABTA-licensed retail travel agencies as well as managing 120 other NBC-owned agencies which trade under the National Travelworld name.

Malcolm Roxburgh has been appointed managing director designate of a new NBC subsidiary company which will take over the Welsh operations of Crosville from September 1.

Roxburgh, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport, has been group planning manager of National Bus Com

pany since 1978. He entered NBC's senior management training scheme in 1969.

The new company, yet to be named, will broadly take over Crosville's operations in Clwyd, Gwynedd, Powys and Dyfed. David Meredith, the present Crosville managing director, will head the existing company's North-West interests.
