• The Tachograph division Solex (UK) has been acquire for an undisclosed sum from the receivers by Speedograp of Nottingham.
The division is being trans ferred to Nottingham and wil be run alongside Speedograph's existing automotive i strument business.
Speedograph's managing director, Ted Ingle, says: "This trading division did not contribute to the problems o Solex, and I expect it to be trading profitably very short] The product range complements the Richfield company previously acquired from Smiths, and fits in well with our future plans."
Solex went into receiversh last November and Speedograph completed the purchase of the company's tachograph division last mont Speedograph says that his company's tachograph manufacturing capacity will bt expanded.
