A hundred and fifty years of history came to an end last week when the last of the Bonallack family involved in bodybuilding gave up his executive post. Sir Richard Bonallack retired as chairman of Norwich-based Freight Bonallack Ltd and became non-executive president of the company.
The only other Bonallack still in the business — Sir Richard's son Michael — leaves his sales position with the firm's Basildon branch to take up a post in the golfing world where he has become such a redoubtable champion.
