It will separate fine dust 'articles by continuous filter nocesses using poly propylene filter bags, right down to sub-micron sizes. With a holding capacity of 15.3 cum (20 cu yd), the Vactor provides a large operator with a fast-cleaning and reclamation method for many materials which might otherwise be wasted. Other collection methods are usually uneconomic or inefficient.

Wet waste is collected by a system quite separate from the filter bags, so that these cannot become clogged with sludge.

Mounted on a 30-ton eight-wheel Foden chassis. the Vactor also has a water tank for equipment washdowns.
