"A LACK of liaison" between a transport manager and his deputy resulted in the curtailment of three vehicles from the 36vehicle licence of Fagg's Fleet at Maidstone last week. Transport manager Mr T. Cooper admitted that gaps of 5,000 and 10,000 miles had intervened' between servicing of two or three vehicles, and that this had resulted in the issue of five delayed and one immediate prohibition.
Mr G. A. Cooper told the deputy LA that the firm's new maintenance policy would be to submit every vehicle for a monthly servicing to Crouch's Garage thus avoiding a recurrence of the previous situation.
