FOUR MORE Scan-Coin Automatic coin sorting and counting machines have been ordered by Edinburgh Corporation Transport.
The machines are produced by Automaticket Ltd and are used in conjunction with Bell Punch Autofare fare boxes. The boxes are removed from the vehicle at the end of each shift and the contents fed into the Scan machines, which are capable of sorting up to 1,500 coins a minute.
