JUDGMENT was given by Judge Sir Henry Braund at Derby County Court for Hewson Bros., Ltd., Hull, when they claimed £98 14s. 7d. damages from Byrnes Garages, Ltd., Exeter Street, Derby, for alleged faulty work on the differential of one of the plaintiffs' lorries, which broke down near Derby last year, and for lost profits.
It was stated that the differential was attended to and its oil level restored by the defendants, but that the assembly burned out 320 miles afterwards through lack of oil.
