I HAVE sent the following to the M6 toll road company after reading your interview with the MD Tom Fanning (CA/17 February): refer to your interview with Commercial Motor and the following paragraph,`Our aim was to provide a solution to the terrible congestion around Birmingham and we have achieved this.'
"How can you say this as every morning at 6.30am the M6 is solid from Junction 11? I am an ownerdriver. I pay 1700 per year in road tax and! will not pay extra for toll roads unless the government compensates the road transport industry" Andrew Jones by e-mail
