MAN-ERF WILL unveil its new lightweight truck range, the TGL, at this year's CV show on 5 April, giving the Birmingham exhibition its first world launch.

TheTGL 7.5-tonner replaces the L2000 range. It features a brand new cab, updated engines and a host of other improvements which MAN believes will make it one of the most productive 7.5-tonners on the market. The mid-range TOM line-up will he launched at the RAI Show in October.

Also new from MAN-ERF this year is its low-entry TGLE refuse chassis, due to debut at the Char tered Institute of Waste Management exhibition in June.

The new truck is the fruit of a collaboration with UK specialist vehicle Dennis. It uses the same cab body in white as the Dennis Elite but with an MAN interior and the D20 engine underneath rated at 280 and 310hp. Tipmatic automated manual transmissions will be fitted as standard.
