• Lucas CAV has developed a fuel heater which can fit into the low-pressure fuel line anywhere between tank and filter. The company already makes its D-Wax model, which slots into the filter. The new D-Wax inline heater is self-actuating, controlled by a thermostat, and is suited to all diesel vehicles. It comes in 12 or 24 volt versions, is available from Lucas agents nationally or from Lucas Parts and Service at Aylesbury on (0844) 292121, and costs from £60.
