Jr ANN, EGERTON & C0_, LTD., _LIU, Prince of Wales Road, Norwich. who market numerous specialities of direct value to commercial vehicle users and to those engaged in the maintenance of such machines, have recently added to their list of garage equipment a portable oil cabinet which has several interesting features. In has been introduced to overcome certain of the difficulties often experienced when supplying oil to vehicles drawn up outside the garage and, at the same time, to keep the lubricant free from grit, road (last and other foreign matter, the presence of which must ultimately have deleterious effects on the working parts.

The latter trouble is avoided by the use of the M.E. appliance, for the oil is carried in an enclosed container with a binged lid, and can be drawn up at any convenient point The container itself is made from heavy-gauge lead-coated steel and is oval in section. It is mounted in a light, but substantial, frame built up of welded-steel sections, rind the means by which it isheld (see one illustration) permit it to be readily detached. The frame is mounted on a single axle', with rubber-tyred wheels. and stability is secured by a carved rest-pieee at the front.

The capacity of the container is 10 gallons, and for drawing off supplies a special type of pump is provided: Quart, pint and half-pint measures are inthided with the tank, the lid of which can; be locked to safeguard the contents.

The M.E. oil eabinet-is enamelled in green and black and is priced at £4 lOs , which is certainly reasonable.
