Frost ; Dundee's Argyll has turned out to 132 calls, in 15 months, according to the report of Firemaster j. S. Weir. An Argyll tender is on order for Oldha.m. Bulgarian Orders.

The Municipality of Sofia (Bulgaria) has voted 95,000 francs for two firebrigade automobiles and two motorvans suitable for the transport of meat. A similar type of meat-van was adopted, some time back, by the French War Office : its sides and endpieces are double, and a ventilator, worked from the engine, sends a constant stream of fresh air through the van.
