Motors in the US for the UK Isuzu franchise. General Motors owns a share in the Japanese manufacturer which launched the Trooper Commercial in the UK at last year's Motor Show. According to IM, it has enough Trooper stocks to continue sales well into 1994.
Vauxhall denies IM's claims that it has announced plans to market the Trooper under the Vauxhall badge in the UK: the Trooper is already sold as the Opel Monterey in Germany.
