, A problem which is causing concern to Canadian manufacturers is the condition of the roads in the Dominion. They are complaining -that trade expansion will be hampered if the difficulties of road transportation cmitinne.
The question has assumed such importance that recently an expert was commissioned to submit to the Canadian Government a policy of federal aid to the various provinces, so that the roads might be put into better repair, and there is talk of a great highway from Halifax to Vancouver.
