On the distribution side we have been correspondingly busy. Recent purchases have included a further supply of tobth brushes and tooth soap. We have also been able to acquire another consignment of socks at the .same favourable rate as before. At the present time we are considering the question of the purchase of some half-a-dozen or so grambphones. These will probably be chosen from some few score second-hand ones which have been offered to us. A member of the staff, expert in such matters, has kindly volunteered his aid in the selection of the half-dozen.

Last Friday was the occasion for another "packing night," when the customary batch of cases was packed, labelled and prepared for the visit of the railway company's messenger on the Saturday morning. We mentioned in our issue of the 20th May that we had received a further list of companies at the Front. In the interim we have verified by actual communications from " somewhere in France" that the miNjority of these are in such a position that comforts would be welcome. As a eonsequenee, the majority of the cases filled on Friday night were for the benefit of the companies who had never before received a share. The heavy additions to our list of recipients now calls for the expenditure of 2500 a month. We rely on the support of our readers.
