• Staff at United Biscuits have won a 3% pay rise across the board following talks between the Transport & General Workers Union and the company.
Employees stand to receive 3% this year and a minimum of 3% next year with an extra day's paternity leave.
Previously, the company had put forward two separate pay rises-2.45% and 2.9% for lower-paid staff. The union was protesting about the different pay rates proposed.
