has been choc-a-bloc with Christmas cards from our adoring readers over the past few weeks — with one notable absence.
Bristol-based operator Peter Lane Transport decided to drop Christmas cards in favour of making a donation to the Gala Foundation in Brazil, which replants trees in the rain forest.
This year Peter Lane customers received a certificate, on recycled paper, to say a tree had been planted on their behalf.
Nice touch. What's more the Lane Group has made cash donations to charities nominated by its major customers.
