• Securicor Omega Express' 3,000-strong vehicle fleet helped Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody secure the Christmas number one spot by rushing the record into the shops over a single weekend.
Queen's record company EMI made the decision to rush release the record for the AIDS charity the Terrance Higgins Trust after Queen's lead singer Freddie Mercury died from the disease. Securicor, which is contracted to deliver EMI records, says it used "practically every vehicle in the fleet" to reach all UK mainland record shops by 8 December.
