DISTRIBUTION DISCIPLINE • The first annual conference on Improvements in Distribution is being run on 17 and 18 April at the Metropole Hotel at the NEC, Birmingham.
Leading figures in distribution have been invited to discuss topics such as quality, cost and customer service in distribution. Topical issues covered include the growing dissatisfaction with contract distribution, highlighted in a recently published survey from management and computer consultancy P-E International, joint organiser with IIR of the conference.
An analysis of warehouse and distribution costs across Europe will be a feature of the conference.
