• Following negotiations in Prague. Strojimport, Foreign Trade Corporation for import and export in Czechoslovakia has signed an initial contract with Motor Panels (Coventry) Ltd. in excess of 050.000. This contract is allied to a long-term agreement of co-operation which was signed, at the same time, between the Owen Organisation and one of the major Czechoslovak industrial organizations—AVIA Letnany of Prague.
Motor Panels, member of the family controlled Owen Organisation. was awarded this initial contract in the face of fierce competition from France and West Germany.
