• While the Scottish Bus Group awaits a decision on its application for fares increases, several smaller bus companies have applied to the Scottish Traffic Commissioners for similar increases. They are: A. A. Motor Services Ltd., Ayr: Clyde Coast Services Ltd., Saltcoats; Graham's Bus Service Ltd., Paisley; and J. and J. Leith Ltd., Sanquhar.
The four companies are asking for fares revision corresponding to those applied for by the Western S.M.T. Co. Ltd.
