Ltd.. of Edinburgh, has virtually completed a £250,000 reorganization of its garage and workshop at Roseburn, Edinburgh. Basic intention is to provide a 24-hour day, seven-day week, 52-week year service M. all sections. The new body shop gives 20,000 square feet without a single column : the new engine reconditioning shop is capable of handling 6,000 engines a year and has its own test beds; the new spares department provides some £500,000 of spares on continuous call. IA24 m. Contract The International Harvester Co., of Australia, has won a contract worth more than LA2f m. for the manufacture of 610 vehicles for the Army. They will replace the Army's general service 3-tonner,, all of which date back to the

Leyland Extends South African Service: With the opening of a new depot at Em pangem in Zululand, I.eyland Albion (Africa) Ltd. now provide full-scale spare parts and servicing facilities for operators of Leyland, Albion and Scammen heavy-duty vehicles in 39 towns and cities in South Africa. Perkins Subsidiary Change : The Perkins Group has changed the name of its German subsidiary to Perkins Motoren G.m.b.H. Formed in 1958, the company is based at Aschaffenburg and was originally called F. Perkins Kundendienst G.m.b.H.

Dyson's Overseas Agencies : R. A. Dyson and Co. Ltd. has concluded overseas agency arrangements as follows; Blackwood Hodge Ltd., in the Federation of Rhodesia-Nyasaland ; Ghana-Gambia; Sierra Leone ; KenyaUganda Tanganyika -Zanzibar; Ceylon ; Congo; Liberia, and Angola. K. W. Swinton-Skelton, in Burma.

Mack Take-over: Mack Trucks Inc., U.S.A., has agreed to buy the stock of Camions Bernard SA., Paris, heavy-duty lorry manufacturers. Raymond Bernard, son of the founder of the company, will continue as president of the company under Mack ownership.

A.E.C. Distributor in Ecuador: As part of A.E.C.'s continued expansion of its activities in the Latin American heavy commercial vehicle market, Alfredo Alban M., of Guayaquil, has been appointed distributor for A.E.C. vehicles in Ecuador.

Rubery, Owen Takeover: Rubery, Owen and Co. Ltd. has acquired control of Firth Cleveland Pumps Ltd., of Earl Shilton, Leicestershire. At the same time the name of the company has been changed to Rubery Owen (Pumps) Ltd., hut Mr. W. M. H. Stevens remains as managing director.
