Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Waste management specialist Grundon is acquiring 10 new ERFs including three with drysteer systems for inner-city use.

The Oxfordshire company needs vehicles able to turn lock-to-lock at a standstill in the tightest spots, so it specified extra steering assistance on three Cummins ISM-powered 8x4 EC11s. The units are fitted with Faun front-end loaders, Allison World Series automatic transmission and rubber suspension.

Grundon is also taking seven other ERFs fitted with POE Geesink bodies, two other EC11TP4s and five EC8.28MU3Ls for trade waste collection. There are now more than 70 ERFs in the 200-strong fleet.
