• In cutting the duration of the licences held by Charlotte and John Cook, of Lochgilphead, so that they now expire at the end of October instead of March 1995, Scottish LA Michael Betts issued a final warning about maintenance standards.
• The one vehicle licence held by Worcester-based Ronald William Jones was suspended, when he failed to appear at a Birmingham disciplinary inquiry West Midland Deputy LA Roger Seymour was concerned about maintenance and tax.
• A bid for a new two vehicle licence by Margaret Leigh, of Church Strefton, Shropshire, was turned down when she failed to appear at a Birmingham public inquiry. West Midland Deputy LA Roger Seymour said there was concern over maintenance, financial standing and the suitability of the proposed operating centre.
• The hearing of a case involving drivers' hours offences by three drivers from Norbert Dentressangle has been adjourned until March by Rochdale Magistrates. The three, Jean Pierre Serge, Gerard Marcel Venon, and Didier Lucien Poupee are alleged to have taken insufficient daily rest.
