IT that committees of passenge:vehicle operators are being set up in the various Traffic Areas to discuss ways and means of dealing with the problem of services to evacuation districts. The proCedure to be followed is that each committee will collect, from local operators, information as to the services they desire to operate in this connection, to the end that a concise and complete programme may be put before the Ministry. The first meeting of the committee in the Metropolitan Area has already been held; those in the provinces are tc follow quickly.
