Cover includes parts and labour, regardless of mileage, as well as routine safety checks and annual DOT check. A knock-on benefit includes discounts of around 40% for the first year's contract maintenance offered by Volvo Truck Finance.
For a five-year contract hire deal, savings of about 8% can be made. Volvo's managing director designate Stephen Johnson translates this into savings of about £100 a month over the first year for an FL618 4x2 rigid covering 64,000km a year, or an FL10 4x2 tractive unit covering 112,000km a year.
Truck buyers will receive a book of vouchers with each new Volvo. The vouchers can be exchanged for the appropriate services at any Volvo dealer or distributor.
