IN More than million is being invested in the bulk-liquid division of P&O Tankrnasters to strengthen the company's fleet. The investment programme includes ten 28,000litre IMO type 1 tank containers supplied by CPV, from Clones in Ireland and 15 lightweight step-frame skeletal trailers from Crane Fruehauf. The trailers are fitted with a hot water heating system to control the temperature of sensitive products. P&O is also replacing its fleet of tractor units in the bulk liquid division. Latest additions are seven Volvo FL10 tractors and two ERF E 10s. The vehicles will operate throughout the UK, Europe and Scandinavia.
