Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Transport Development Group is posting itself into the Irish parcels market with the 2600,000 acquisition of Express Parcels (Portadown) and Express Parcels (Dublin).

The deals are being handled by Express Development Services, TDG's sub-holding company which was established earlier this year to co-ordinate parcels operations within the group.

EDS chief executive David Allen says the acquisitions will complement Independent's parcel operations in Northern Ireland, and will provide an entry into the Irish market. Express Parcels will retain its name and livery, under the direction of managing director Michael Mitchell.
