KYSOR maximum speed controls are to be incorporated in the design of the Quest 80based Plaxton-bodied VM-type coaches being built for Excelsior Holidays of Bournemouth.
The coaches, which are being equipped with 210hp Sabre intercooled and turbocharged versions of the Ford six-litre engine, will have a Kysor control unit allowing the driver to select a maximum speed of 55mph or 65mph. The maximum governed speed will be 73mph.
