• Reading Transport has bought a Scania K113CRB Elite with Van Hool Alizee H bodywork from Worksop based Stuart Johnson.
The vehicle is equipped with Scania's LISC11-16 charge-cooled 242kW (325hp) engine, ABS and alloy wheels as standard, and has a Scania GA781R fully automatic four-speed transmission with integral hydraulic retarder and "kneeling" front air suspension. It has 49 reclining seats, a rear demountable toilet, a servery and fridge, a drinks dispenser, overhead lockers and a Webasto heater.
Reading Transport has also taken delivery of two 28-seat Optare StarRiders on Mercedes 811D chassis.
