Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Multifreight will be relaunched this month under the control of a new management team, with a new livery and an extended service.

The move, predicted in Commercial Motor (15-21 June) is aimed at "sharpening the approach" of Multifreight in the next-day parcels market, says Ian Dodd, sales and marketing director of Multifreight's parent company United Carriers, which has allocated two of its top managers to the operation.

Billy Best takes over as operations manager, with Jimmy Powell as sales manager. Gerald Saunders, former head of Multifreight, has moved across to sister company Robson Distribution where he becomes operations director.

Best and Powell will develop the container-based parcels service with an aggressive campaign. All the company's vehicles and containers will carry the new Multifreight livery, which features the United Carriers four-colour Chevron.

The formal launch of the new-look Multifreight service is expected next week.
