SALES of four-wheel-drive vehicles in Britain are expected to riseby over 20 per cent in 1985, according to Toyota GB.
Registrations of light 4x4 commercials are already up by 14.6 per cent this year, with .over 6,806 sold during the first six months compared with 5,935 sold during the same period in 1984_
Current market leader is still Land Rover with a 51 per cent share. Subaru is in second. place with 10.9 per cent, and Toyota is in. third position with 8.9 per cent having sold over 600 vehicles. Last year Toyota sold 1,239 li-Lux pick-ups and over 400 Land Cruiser models in the UK.
