KING'S LYNN indepen George Dack, tradirq Dack's Coaches, has \ authority to continue op( ing six vehicles from its d at Emorsgatc, Terringtot Clement.
Mr Dack had appe against a refusal of plan] permission for the contil use of the Emorsg premises by King's Lynn West Norfolk Borol Council_ In granting permission three-year period only, appeals inspector, Cha Hughes, said that would Mr Dack time to investi alternatives and the cot time to monitor the effec ness of the planning per sion in limiting the seal operation_
Mr Hughes said accepted that the buildin Emorsgate would spoil character of the open ci tryside in which it was sted.
However, he also acce there was insufficient rooi base the six buses at Dack's main depot in K: Lynn. Even if there had such a transfer, it woulC crease costs by five per making it likely that valt services would be lost.
The buses operate sc contract and stage servic( the west of King's Lyn well as some excursions private hire.
