• The York Trailer Co Ltd has extended its Lo-deck range of semi-trailer flat platforms and introduced an L040 and LD40 TT. The latter model is intended for operation with tandem-axle tractive units.
Both LD 40 models have been designed for the Continental European market and are for operating up to 40 tonnes gcw, with a gross trailer weight of 34 tonnes. Unladen weight is under 5000kg.
The York 22 tonnes suspension units are of the widespread type, and can incorporate standard 11 tonnes axles or German TUV approved 11 tonnes axles.
