• Objections are to be lodged by Hartlepool Corporation to three applications by National Bus Company subsidiaries — United Automobile, Northern General and Sunderland District — to re-route their services.
Cllr. W. Iseley, chairman of the town's transport committee, said last week that it would be "sheer madness" to operate more buses along York Road.
