• Hauliers are being asked to take special measures to protect their vehicles against theft during the week commencing September 2. The request comes from the RHA as part of its HOOF week (Hands off our freight) which ends on Sunday September 9 at the final of the Lorry Driver of the Year competition at Bramcote with a security display.
Posters, stickers and messages for inclusion in the pay packets of drivers are being distributed through area offices of the RHA.
