Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

GREATER space inside a semi-trailer fitted out as a bar has been gained by arranging for the central section to extend 4 ft. 6 in. to the off 'side. The outfit, which incorporates a, Bedford tractor, is used by C. C. Wakefield and Co., Ltd. The semi-trailer chassis is a Dysgn model, and the original body was built by Commercial Motors (Harlow), Ltd., Sherwood Road, South Harrow.

Wimbledon Motor Works, Ltd., 29 High. Street, London, S.W.19, and Adams and Adams, Ltd., Dickerage Lane, New Malden, collaborated on the design of the modification, and the work was performed by Adams and Adams, Ltd., who also repainted the vehicle. The bar section measures 6 ft. 6 in. laterally, and with its back flush with the outer panelling of the body only a narrow isle was left on the near side.

A roller track was laid underneath the bar, which was reconstructed as a unit able to be pushed out to be supported by two steel members attached to the chassis. Pipes for the supply of water are flexible to accommodate the extension movement. The water supply is pressurized. Beneath the chassis are two 100-gal. tanks and an air bottle.

The air in the tanks is pressurized from the bottle, and water is forced up to a 4-gal. reservoir tank, in the roof, from which it may drop by gravity to taps in the basin fitted in the bar. A hand pump is incorporated as a stand-by.

Calor-gas equipment includes three grills and a Ewart water heater; in addition there is a cold chamber. A Pye radio with two speakers is fitted.

Extension of the bar has allowed a seat to. be used along the near-side wall. This seat folds when the bar is retracted. Twenty-six people may be seated in the semi-trailer. When the bar is extended, the sides abut against waterproof spongerubber gaskets. The floor is reinforced to resist bowing and there is a rider block so that the whole unit can run square to the main section .of the body. Formica panelling presents a neat appearance. The door at the hack of ihe bar is divided.

The roof has been Modified and is now of the double' skin air-flow type. Batteries for the 12v. electrical equipment are_housed under the chassis. These may be charged when the prime mover is running.
