Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

T"groups of coach operators, Ribblesdale Coachways and W. Robinson and Sons, are to support Blackburn Corporation in securing the transfer of termini for all serrices other than stage-carriage services, to a new bus station being built by the Corporation.

This was revealed by Mr. H. Blockhouse, for the two operators, at a resumed hearing, last week, by the North Westein Licensing Authority of a corporation scheme to end traffic congestion along the Boulevard. An earlier hearing was reported in the February 13 issue of The Commercial Motor. Mr. BlAckhouse said that his clients had agreed with the corporation not to use 23 licensed points elsewhere in the town, but to operate from the new station on and after Easter.

Mr. W. Blackhurst, for Ribble Motor Services, Ltd., said that Mr. Blackhouse's announcement was a surprise. Mr. Blockhouse then announced that the corporation would object to any Ribble picking-up point on the Boulevard when the licences came up for renewal. Mr. F. S. Squires, Blackburn deputy town clerk, later substantiated this statement. Any operator's proposal to pick up passengers in the town would be opposed, he said.

The Authority granted Ribblesdale and Robinson a dispensation to use the new bus station and added that if any other operators desired to make similar arrangements, there would be no foreseeable difficulties.

The inquiry will be resumed in about a month's time
