year's summer time-tables for road services, this year's schedule of London Transport shows a saving of some 360,000 miles a week. The Board's programme is based on the need for economy in the use of petrol, oil fuel, and tyres, and any improvements in services are directed to the needs of factories engaged in war work. The alterations are mainly concerned with busts in the central area, and so far as country buses are concerned, there will merely be_a few service adjustments, whilst no changes will be made in the Green Line time-tables.
