MORE THAN 258,000 professional drivers have completed their Driver CPC and received their Driver Qualification Cards (DOC), according to the Driving Standards Agency. The total includes PCV and LGV drivers and new starters since 2008/09 (not just those with acquired rights). The 258,396 DQCs issued as of September is a 6.8% increase on August's 241,930 total. A total of 671,273 drivers (LGV and PCV) have engaged with the process, meaning up to 78,727 have potentially not.
