PALLETFORCE attracted more than 80 people to its first jobs fair, which was held at its central hub in Burton-upon-Trent. The pallet network is looking to recruit fulland part-time forklift drivers as well as apprentices for its in-house Forklift Truck Driving Apprenticeship Academy. "It was fantastic to see so many people excited about the opportunities to be part of an award-winning team. We will now be progressing further with potential candidates,"
said Michael Conroy, chief executive of Palletforce.
During the evening guests were able to talk to Palletforce staff about the academy and what it is like to work at the 400,000ft2 hub. There was also the opportunity to tour the hub and speak to representatives from Derby College who work in partnership with Palletforce to provide apprentices with the opportunity to achieve an NVO in warehousing and storage.
