Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Test equipment manufacturer Kismet has a new roller brake tester with an array of practical features that make it virtually maintenance-free.

Designed to deal with axle weights up to 18 tonnes, the Kismet Brak 6000 test unit has axle weight sensors that deliver fast, accurate readings and is claimed to be ideal for those doing pre-test inspections or performance monitoring.

Being bi-directional, it will benefit smaller workshops where space is at a premium and the addition of a PC port makes it compatible with any future legislative requirements.

Rollers have 'lifetime' surfaces and the tester chassis is galvanised.

Its 111,995 retail price includes infrared remote control, parallel printer, weighing sensors and installation; UK concessionaire Phil Stoddard says it is the most competitive on the market.

Kismet's range also includes a new class? version for use with light CVs, plus a class 4 for passenger cars.
