HAVING FAILED the driving test twice because he was alleged not to have used the mirror sufficiently, John D. Morgan, of Solihull, tried a new approach on the third attempt.
In a letter to The Daily Telegraph he wrote: "1 therefore decided that, at the risk of being thought to suffer from a nerve tic, I would jerk my head tower the mirror every time I used it ... The fact that I passed the tE proves that, if you feel that yot. are being examined by a jerk, i is best to reply in kind."
