Guy Caunegre, who has leen head of Renault Trucks and luses UK Ltd since 1978, beomes director, commercial Iperations, with marketing, ales, service, and parts responibility for both Dodge and tenault ranges.

David Graham, directorjeneral of the Greater Mancheser Passenger Transport Execuive, has been elected president of the Confederation of British Road Passenger Transport. He takes over from Ron Whittle of the Whittle Coach and Travel Group. Four vice-presidents who have also been chosen are Robert Brook, deputy chairman of the National Bus Company, David Quarmby, London Transport Executive managing director (buses), Bill Lewis, general manager of Southampton City Transport, and Hubert Allen, chairman and general manager of Yelloway Motor Services.
British Road Services has appointed Mike Higney national
sales manager. He was previously northern sales manager for Wilkinson Transport.
Liam Dunne has been promoted to manager of Frigoscandia's South-west transport operation, based in Bristol, and Tom Sharpe has taken over as transport manager of Frigoscandia for the London area.
Former Scottish Bus Group commercial officer Alan Wilson has been made traffic manager of Western SMT. He takes over from Malcolm Stewart.
Michael Lewis is now assistant company secretary/ accountant of Potteries Motor Traction, in place of Richard Dixon who has taken a post outside National Bus. Mr Lewis joined NBC in September as financial/management accountant for Midland Red (North).
Bill Hooker is chief purchasing officer (designate) of NBC. He will succeed Arthur Timms, who is retiring at the end of November.
Luton Borough Council's new transport manager is Frank Webber. He succeeds Roy Harris who has retired.
