Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ONE of the first Foden 100-ton tractive units to be produced has gone into service with Public Works (Bristol) Ltd. It is being used with a King lowloader semi-trailer for carrying giant earth-movers.

The double-drive six-wheeled Foden is powered by a 335bhp Cummins engine driving through a nine-speed Foden gearbox. Axles are plated at 8 tons for the front and 33 tons for the rear bogie.

Specially chosen to take earth-moving vehicles, the King semi-trailer has two sets of oscillating axle bogies with eight tyres on each. The trailer weighs 151 tons and the tractor 101 tons, giving the outfit a nominal 70-ton load capacity.
