Despite the good relations which normally prevail between the NFC and the transport press I thought a battle was going to break out in earnest at one point. The press at Bournemouth discovered that all the furniture from their office had been whipped by people from NFC operating companies and was being used as an entertainment and jollification base at the Tuesday night reception. War was avoided but when last seen the press had only got one chair and one table back, on the grounds that this was quite enough for anybody To produce a story with.
