The need to supply "spot" heating for workers in stockyards and other outside areas, and for small warehouses and stores away from the main heating source has been recognized by Boscombe Engineering with the introduction of a small space heater, the Tropical B50, easily carried by hand.

It has a heat output of 50,000Btu from the moment it is switched on, and measures 34in. long by 11in. wide and 14in. high.

It incorporates a compressor instead of a fuel pump and has been designed for trouble-free running over exceptionally long periods, On one filling of domestic paraffin it gives 10hr continuous heat.

Available also are automatic versions with photo-cell flameout protection.

Made by: Boscombe Engineering Ltd., Tropical Works, 145 Sterte Rd., Poole, Dorset.
