sets designed to provide a fully comprehensive choice of all types and sizes used in the workshop is announced by T. Williams. There are 11 alternative sets, covering American A /F and Whitworth sockets in sizes

from up to lin, and metric sockets from lOmm to 30mm. The sockets are contained in fitted metal boxes finished in blue-grey stove enamel, with compartments for every item, including the driving accessories. For quick indentification of size range the interior of each socket is colour coded: red—Whitworth, blue—A/F, black—metric.

The smallest set (Type S 9/10) contains seven or eight sizes of socket depending upon range, a 12in. tee slide and 5in. extension. A larger set (Type S 14/15) contains a further three sockets, a 10in, ratchet handle and 10in. extension.
